2019 Executive Fire Officer of the Year – Percy Sayles, Tamarac Fire Rescue

This award honors Tamarac Fire Officer Chief Percy Sayles who has made significant and valuable contributions to the Executive Fire Officers Section and who demonstrates ongoing leadership and commitment to the fire service, as an example to his professional and his department as a whole. Congratulations to Fire Chief Sayles on being chosen to receive the Executive Fire Officer of the Year award; the award was presented during the opening ceremony at the Fire Rescue East in Daytona Beach on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.

2019 Fire Inspector of the Year – Rebecca Geimer, Tamarac Fire Rescue

This award honors Tamarac Fire Inspector Rebecca Geimer for her individual achievement through enforcement of fire and life safety codes, proactive inspection programs and other innovative efforts that reduce the threat of fire in their communities.
