Fire Stations

The Fire Chief’s Association of Broward County is made up of Chief Fire Officers from the 29 municipalities, Broward County, and representatives of Broward’s Trauma Agency, the American Red Cross, Division of Forestry, and Broward County Emergency Management.

About Us

The Association meets the first Thursday of each month and is run by the Executive Board, who are Chief Fire Officers that are elected into the positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Current officers and Past Presidents can be found here.

The Association has formed several long standing committees whose objectives and goals are to research and monitor the latest trends in the Fire and EMS service. Information about the committees’ and method of contacting the chairperson of each committee can be found here.

Executive Fire Officer of the Year Award:  Tamarac Fire Chief Percy Sayles received the Executive Fire Officer of the Year Award from the Florida Fire Chief’s Association. It recognizes his significant contribution to the organization’s Executive Fire Officers Section, demonstrated leadership and commitment to the fire service.
